Camp Tuition

This camp uses a sliding scale registration fee so families can choose an amount that works best for their household.

Sliding Scale Tuition: $200 – $600 per child for the week

The actual cost of running the program is approximately $350 per child, which includes teaching staff, space rental, tools, and supplies.

Families who are able to contribute above the base cost help support access for children whose families need the lower end of the scale.

There is no application or documentation required, simply select the tuition level within this range that works for your family.

If cost is a barrier or you have questions, please feel free to reach out at emily@recreate.org

Behavior & Community Expectations

ReCreate camps emphasize creativity, kindness, and respect. Campers are expected to:

• Follow staff directions
• Treat other campers with kindness and respect
• Use tools and materials safely
• Help clean up shared workspaces

If a camper is struggling to follow expectations, staff will work with the camper to support positive behavior. If a camper’s behavior becomes unsafe or repeatedly disruptive, parents may be contacted to help determine next steps.

Waitlist

Space is limited. If camp fills, families may join a waitlist by emailing info@recreate.org and will be contacted if a spot becomes available.

About ReCreate

ReCreate is a nonprofit creative reuse center and maker education organization serving the greater Sacramento region.

Each year we divert many tons of materials from the landfill and transform them into opportunities for creativity, learning, and imagination. Our programs help young people invent, explore, and create using reclaimed materials while developing confidence, problem-solving skills, and environmental awareness.
