ReCreate is looking for a Creative Reuse Educator & Retail Associate to join our team! If you're passionate about teaching, sustainability, and creativity, this part-time role is a great opportunity to make an impact.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Creative Reuse Educator & Retail Associate

  • Status: Hourly, Regular Part-Time (90-day probationary period)

  • Pay: Starts at $18/hour

  • Location: Rocklin, CA

About ReCreate:

ReCreate is a nonprofit dedicated to hands-on STEAM education, creative reuse, and sustainability. We bring interactive lessons to schools, provide waste reduction education, and run a craft thrift store that makes art more accessible to the community. By diverting materials from landfills, we turn discarded items into opportunities for learning and creativity.

What You’ll Do:

As a Creative Reuse Educator & Retail Associate, you will:

  • Teach hands-on STEAM lessons in classrooms and after-school programs (TK-5 focus)

  • Facilitate family STEAM nights and community events

  • Assist with customer service, stocking, and organization at our craft thrift store

  • Engage with the community to promote sustainability and creative expression

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for working with kids and leading creative learning experiences

  • Experience with classroom management and public speaking

  • A customer-service mindset and ability to work with diverse groups

  • Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and transport class materials

  • Tech and maker skills are a plus
