Junior Design Thinking Camp


This program is aimed at helping students finesse their creativity and innovation skills,  by learning how to invent products based on the needs of the user. 

This camp will give students the opportunity to investigate, define and develop solutions to needs through invention and dynamic hands-on making. Camp time will be split between quick challenges, maker activities and a single week long project. Students will learn simple coding and tech and maker skills throughout the week.

Kids will learn the basics of design thinking, and skills in teamwork and collaboration that will stick with them as they grow, in this memorable camp. 

Location:  ReCreate Reuse Center and Maker Space
Ages:  Incoming 3rd -5th grade students (max 12 kids)
Time:  9:00am to 3:00pm, extended care 8:30am-3:30pm ($50 extra per week)
Dates: July 9th - 13th
Duration: Monday through Friday
Program Fee:  $249, includes all supplies and materials.  Students bring their own lunch and snacks.
